London
After yesterdays march and rally, I walked back to the coach pick-up point. It was a good opportunity to take a few snaps of the sights around London.

Early Snow
Winter has come early this year.

As the buses were few and far between, getting to work involved a long walk to Fareham railway station. It was fine in the snow on day one, but walking on iced, ungritted pavements on day two was perilous and I had a few falls along the way.

This evening, the buses were running again which meant I could come home through Gosport on the ferry. The upper deck came with a warning:-

I loved all the colours when I saw the sign below, but had to photograph it on my mobile phone as I didn’t have my camera accessible:

I’ve had more than enough of the snow now. When’s summer?
Portsmouth Sunrise
I was on an early shift this morning. Sitting on the Gosport Ferry I spotted this fantastic sunrise overlooking Portsmouth. The picture is a bit fuzzy as it was taken on my mobile phone through a window, but it shows the sunrays emanating from behind the buildings next to the Spinnaker Tower.
It’s times like these when I kick myself for not carrying my camera with me more often.
Bugs
I’ve revamped my photo site this weekend and am quite pleased with the result. I’ve used the excellent Jalbum software which is much improved from the last time I used it.
But I’ve not spent the entire weekend in front of the computer. After doing some gardening, I decided to go on an insect safari and took a few photos of the spiders in the garden… as well as a rather large green fly!
I’ve still quite a few photos to load onto the new site from the old one, but it’ll keep me out of mischief!
All good fun!

I’ve added a few photos from RHS Harlow Carr to my photo pages.
