Chumbawamba
Last night, a group of us, including Matthew, went to see Chumbawamba.
Against a backdrop of a picture of Woody Guthrie with Folk Against Fascists written on his guitar, they played a selection of songs from their new album mixed in with some of their older ones.
Between each song, there was some banter with the audience and an introduction to what the song was about.
They played an interesting selection of instruments, including a tie which gave a “washboard” sound. Excellent!
Matthew and I both enjoyed the evening and thanks to K-Quay for getting the tickets.
