Monkey World
Today, Jen, Matt, Ffion and I visited Monkey World in Dorset. This is an ape rescue centre and they have a diverse collection of primates who have been rescued from some dreadful cases of abuse and who now enjoy the company of their own kind in generously sized, well designed enclosures.
It was a wonderfully sunny day. We took a picnic of our favourite sandwiches and snacks which we enjoyed under the shade of a tree whilst watching Ffion and Matt play together on the massive climbing frames in the play area.
My favourite part was the walkthrough Lemur enclosure. In this picture, Fi looks as if she has a miniature lemur on her head!
